Elliot has played drums for over 15 years. He started off as any impressionable young man wanting to learn music. He began with the drums at 10 years old and decided to switch drums a year later. Elliot was the only person in his family who wanted to pick up an instrument so he decided to teach himself how to play the drums. Through much 

Elliot has played drums for over 15 years. He started off as any impressionable young man wanting to learn music. He began with the drums at 10 years old and decided to switch drums a year later. Elliot was the only person in his family who wanted to pick up an instrument so he decided to teach himself how to play the drums. Through much practice, he mastered all styles of drumming and is now the drummer at the band High Pines. Elliot has an affinity for teaching drums as it reminds him of when he first started learning how to play the drums. He teaches all styles of drumming including rock and jazz which are his favorites. Elliot tells us that he teaches drums systematically with an emphasis on counting as it is the most important fundamental in playing drums.
